Special Olympics of Oregon
Why do I support Special Olympics? My sister has a severely disabled child and while she is so disabled that she cannot participate in the Special Olympic events, my sister and her family support Special Olympics and so do I.
Rosemarie graduated from Mary College (University of Mary) in Bismarck, North Dakota in 1986. She moved with her family to Seaside in 1989. She became a Certified Public Accountant in 1996. Rosemarie has worked in public accounting with clients ranging from restaurants to construction contractors, real estate and rentals, medical and dental offices, retail, fishing and more. She has also worked with local government districts - including the Clatsop Care Center Health District, Young's River Lewis & Clark Water District and serving on the budget committee for the Seaside School District. Rosemarie resides in Gearhart with her husband and two dogs (whom you may meet when you stop by our office). She has four children and four grandchildren.
Why do I support the South County Food Bank? Many years ago, my family received food from the South County Food Bank. Those special gifts of food meant so much to my children and I for nutrition, for feeling part of the community and not forgotten. Now I am able to give back and support the food bank with donations of food and money.
We support our troops! These men and women gave more and deserve our support. While we don't need more reasons than that, my husband, son, daughter, and many other families have served our country through military service and this is my way of giving back to all of our troops.
